Hi Mike Here is the first draft for the Billiard light. It was a lot more work drawing than I thought. (I still have lots to learn in Solidworks) You will need to choose a “finial” to hange down in the Center. Have a look here. http://www.bplampsupply.com/category/67/ Keep in mind they will hange upside down. Also I have not drawn the chain or top mounts. First you need to decide if you like the 3 sets of light sections or would prefer 4.here’s the 4 set and finials added. http://www.let-us-create.ca/Site/?p=98
I’ll put links below for the various components I am recommending.
Here’s the light and room. Click On images to see large view.
These are links to the proposed Shade, Orminentation over light (we would modify as per my drawing) I think the Titan face is a nice pick up to tie in with the “Masque” carving detail in the pool table , top armback (this is shown upside down), Light body top. Brass Rod.
Othe Shade suppliers.
The present plan is to use a 4″ fitter. However other options are 2 1/4″, 2 5/8″, 3 1/4″ , 4 1/8″ These are all different “style” but would likely be unnoticable in the over all design.

If you like the “concept” here, http://franklloydwright.tercenim.com/stained_glass.htm , we could ‘design” a shade to fit. We could use brass & glass, and bring the curves of the chandelier and the square’ness of the table together. here are some basic samples of square and curves used in FLW designs. Heres a great presentaion on F.L. Wright. http://www.wrightartglass.com/flash.asp
Let me know your thoughts.
John
Here are my finial suggestions. These are taking ideas off the Floral carving one off the Masque carving.

Wow! It looks great! You do a fantastic job with your drawings. I want to spend some more time going over this before I get back with you. Right now I’m thinking 4 sets of lights but my wife likes the 3. What do you think? I’ll get back with you tommorow. Thanks…Mike
Hi Mike
I can do a set of 4 (tomorrow) it may help you. Did you get a look at the finial’s I could draw those in as well?
John Tschirhart
What do you think of the 10974U finial?
Also I guess I’m not a big fan of the shades. The color is fine but it appears to me that a smoother design might look better. I looked at the other ones on your suppliers website but didn’t see anything I liked. Do you have another supplier that I could check out. I don’t know, maybe this puts us into the Italian designer shade catagory.
Good Morning Mike
10974U That will work I have used it before. A second look at it reveals it does pick up detail from both carvings doesn’t it. I’ll draw that in this morning.
Shade; When you say “Smoother” are you basing that on my drawing or the actual shade image. I have not fully rendered the drawing and the actual shade is very smooth. I was hoping you would like the red, picking up on the red details in the masque carving. However I was also wondering if a “square” shade would work as the entire table is very square no real curves to it. What about a “Frank Lloyd Wright” style shade? I guess the concern would be how it fits with the curvature of the chandelier itself?
I can’t get URL’s to work here. I’ll post some links for shades up above.
