I guess that this is our favorite style. Do you like these better than the original red shades? How do we go about deciding which colors to include in the shades? It appears that a lot of labor will need to go into making these. Do you have an estimated cost per shade? I would imagine that we would need at least one extra shade in case of future breakage. I don’t remember if you gave an opinion on whether a 3 light or a 4 light design would look better. Thanks….Mike
Good Morning Mike
Yes I like these also.
As far as colors are concerned let me check the actual available materials and I will post those options.
My thoughts were to use the red and black from the carvings for sure. Then it would depend more on the rest of the décor of the room. We could possibly use some shade of color off the cloth color as well. We can work on that. As far as pricing I’ll need to get back to you on that. It will be closer to the “Italian” shade pricing.
As far as 3-or 4 sets that’s a tough one. I would say the more light the better visibility for playing.

I looked at the glass info. and am totally lost. I’ll have to trust your judgement on colors and design.

Sorry the Glass info is confusing. I try to keep it understandable but with so many options available it is hard to.
I thought if you browsed the color samples something might stick out. Not to worry about that though.
I am working with the Glass supplier to come up with a color scheme that will work.
My comment on Italian hand blown glass was basically a “generic” comment to let you know there were high-end custom options available.
As I brows for samples I see so many options, not that they all work, it just give me an idea of price ranges that I pass on so clients know they have options.
Here is a sample of hand blown Glass but it does not work in your design. (It’s actually quite ugly for that kind of money.) http://www.antiquelampsupply.com/product/3180

Basically we can conceive and design every detail to create & fit your décor.
So I hope this doesn’t confuse you more. I am happy in fact would like to make the stained glass shade.
It is more work but that’s what I am here for and the more custom pieces I can do the better.
The fact that the Vernors Table, the cue rack and the light are all custom designed and built. It only seems fitting to add this custom detail.
We do though need to finalize this issue and get moving ahead.

That sounds good John. We’ll go ahead with that style. What else do you need from me now? Would a close up picture of our rug be beneficial as you choose colors? Thanks..Mike
